For complete solution to offshore environment related problems, glass reinforced epoxy (GRE) piping system is introduced that can sustain even in highly corrosive fluids. With the ability to work under various temperatures, pressures and adverse soil and weather conditions, these pipes are used especially in desalination, chemical plants, oil exploration, dredging, fire mains, portable water and many more.
Unlike GRP pipes which are self cured, GRE pipes are cured in an enclosed chamber at high temperature. Proved to be one of the best solutions in applications of petrochemical and marine industries, GRE pipes are treated for a maintenance free and light weight design with longer service life span.
We have the capability to manufacture 30 KM GRE pipe per month taking into account average diameter of 300 mm. We are the first Indian company to get API 15 LR certification for GRE pipes.

Light weight : In comparison to other materials, GRE pipe have high strength-to-weight ratio. It is light in weight by 1/5th of steel, 1/10th of P.S.C and 1/8th of C.I. This enables for easy and quick installation of GRE pipes with handling modification and repairs.
Corrosion resistance : Made from composite material of epoxy resin and glass fiber, GRP is an inert material. Due to this reinforcement, it ensures excellent resistance to corrosion, chemical and weather. Along with this, the cost of additional coating and cathodic protection gets saved.
Longer service life : Even after continuous service of 50 years, the GRE pipes will still have safety factor of 1.8 times greater than its pressure class. This is due to its hydraulic design basis (HDB). In comparison to C.I., steel, G.I. and P.S.C. pipes that have lower life cycle, these GRE pipes have reliability, longer service life and durability.
High resistance to surge pressure : Unlike CI pipes, in GRE pipes, there is very less chance of bursting due to water hammer as it is highly resistant to surge pressure.

FRP Pipe are manufactured by reinforcing with glass fibres, hence also known as FRP composite. Manufacturing Process: Advanced techniques like dual headed filament winding, hand layup and continuous filament winding process are used for manufacturing EPP pipes. Out of all the hi-tech procedures, advanced 2 axis and 4 axis CNC filament winding technology is implemented in GRP pipe. In this process, method for pipe fabrication involves roving of continuous glass strand which is helically wound around a rotating mandrel at an angle of 55° and pre-saturated in a resin bath. Till the desired wall thickness is achieved, the winding process is continued in bi-directional layers. This winding angle of 55° will provide optimum 2:1, hoop to axial ratio. All the GRP pipes with filament winding is better than pipes manufactured with other methods like hand-layup, as they show better physical properties and have longer service life.
